Pre-Nursery
Pre-Nursery in Chiltern House is a bilingual independent programme. It enrols children from the age of 18 months onwards. Children in this programme are introduced to a variety of experiences, structured to guide them through their developmental milestones. The activities planned, as well as the equipment, used are designed to help our children develop their social-emotional, self-help, sensory, motor development and cognitive skills.

Chiltern House Nursery 1
Chiltern House Nursery 1 is a bilingual programme for children who are turning three the year they are admitted to the level. Each Nursery 1 class has an English and a Mandarin teacher and both languages are incorporated into the daily activities and routines. Our children work on developing language, mathematics, self-help skills and a sense of belonging to the group.

Chiltern House Nursery 2
Chiltern House Nursery 2 is for children who are turning four. The class is run by an English teacher and a support teacher, and Mandarin classes are conducted by visiting Mandarin teachers for an hour daily. The focus at this level is on further expanding language skills, developing early literacy skills and mathematical concepts. As our children develop their independence, they also begin to work in small groups, further enhancing their social skills.

Chiltern House Kindergarten 1
Chiltern House Kindergarten 1 is for children between the ages of four and five. Each class is run by an English teacher and a support teacher with the Mandarin classes conducted by visiting teachers. Reading and early writing skills are areas of focus, alongside expanding mathematical concepts. Small group work, taking on areas of responsibility and independent activities, are key areas for this age-group.

Chiltern House Kindergarten 2
Chiltern House Kindergarten 2 is for children between the ages of five and six. Each class is run by an English teacher and a support teacher. Mandarin classes in Kindergarten 2 are conducted for an hour daily. Our children continue to develop and refine their skills as concepts deepen in complexity. Specific opportunities are planned to encourage time management, self-responsibility, teamwork and application of skills as children prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.
